In a city bursting with vibrancy and creativity, it will now become much easier to decide what to do, where to go and when you need to be there with the "What's On" Guide.
Through the Connected Mobile Communities Project, funded by the EU Northern Periphery Programme, Derry City Council is developing a "What's On" Guide for the city, accessible online and on mobile devices such as Smartphones and PDAs etc. This will be also be supported by a feature-rich iPhone Application.
The Guide will allow everyone to quickly and easily access information on events/attractions in the city. You can browse events and activities by category, date, keyword search and view independently rated top 5 events. You can also access event details, view locations on Google Maps and share information with friends and family on Facebook and Twitter.
The "What's On" Guide presents a significant opportunity for local entertainment/ performance venues and businesses to profile themselves and their events completely free of charge.
